2 weeks later, on April 21 Rick Ross dropped "Deeper Than Rap," which debuted at Number 1 on the Top 200 Billboard charts with 158,000 records sold.

I'm very sorry, but I'll have to agree with those who sided with Jada on this one. Jada would have sold way more than Ross if he was provided all of those services. I also believe Jada's album is far better than Ross'. All Rick keeps talking about is "Boss" and "dealing weight." I'm tired of that. I think I got enough of that from the Trilla Album. Jadakiss has my vote on this one.
ross should have done 200,000 or more with all the hype,he started this beef with 50 to sell records he barley sold anythinf,ross took a major loss,he came in at #1 but he sold less than his last album port of miami,even dj khaled knows that that's why ross is back in the studio he is in the red,ross lost fans with this beef,50 embarrassed ross like no other,he did him worser than ja rule,watch when ross next album drops he will sell less like ja rule did when he droped his album.this beef only benefited 50 if you ask me.ross should have just left the beef alone and promoted his album,jada didn't have beef and sold nearly the same thing as ross with a low budget at that.def jam needs to take a look at what they are doing the only artisth they need to be spending that much money on is kanye,rihianna,neyo,that's about it,they each have sold 200,000 or more first week.if dj khaled don't recoup the money off ross failed ablum dtr he be looking for another job,drf jam should think seriously of hiring 50,he knows when to stop spending money if the album isn't selling.
Rick ross is a magneficent mess,right now...becos of the fact that he tops the chart does not mean that he did well,you guys need to pay attention to the budget and the outcome......the 158 thousand copies for the first week can't go higher the next week....it depreciates as the week progresses. My point exactly.Rick ross is not a bad rapper,but i think he needs to be real with himself and most especially to his fans.
real talk this is bullshit. if 50 sold 158,000 his first week it would be considered a flop. the only reason rick came in first is bcuz he didnt go against anyone. 50 sold a milli in 3days on his second ablum over 500,000 in a week on his 3rd. ross last album is only @ 700,000 there is no debate. you have a rapper and a superstar. people open your eyes ross did good for his status
