MTV African Music Award Hosted in Nigeria (Obviously where else would they possibly host it?!)

MTV launched its first-ever music award program for Africa on Friday the 18th of November 2008, with acts from across the continent nominated for prizes in the Nigerian capital Abuja. Alison Reid, a spokeswoman for MTV Networks Africa, says winners were being selected by fans sending text messages.
The house was packed with international celebrity's which included Destinys' child's Kelly Rowland and rappers like The Game.

Nigerian footballer Jay Jay Okocha took time out to show that he still got the skills


Everybody knows how much of an international performer seun Kuti is, he just had to blaze the stage, you know,pick it up where his pops FELA left off.
